Greenhouse gas emissions from buses in the United Kingdom decreased 8.3 percent in 2023 to 2.2 million metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (MtCO₂e). As part of a strategy to reduce transportation emissions, the UK government aims to end the sale of all non-zero emissions buses by 2032.
