Share of freelance income in the U.S. from sharing economy platforms 2014 to 2015

This statistic shows the change in the share of freelance income from U.S. freelancers that is sourced from sharing economy platforms between 2014 and 2015. The percentage of freelancers earning to percent of their income through sharing platforms doubled from percent in 2014 to percent in 2015. Moreover, the percentage of freelancers earning the vast majority, to 100 percent, of their income from sharing economy platforms rose from percent to percent in 2015.
