H&M's global GHG emissions 2013-2023
Greenhouse gas emissions generated by the apparel company H&M – including scope 1 and 2 emissions – totaled just over 54.8 thousand metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (ktCO₂e) in 2023. This represented a decrease of roughly 15 percent in comparison to the previous year. In comparison to 2019, emissions declined by 24 percent. The company aims to reduce emissions by 56 percent below 2019 levels by 2030.
