In 2023, Toronto Pearson International Airport hosted 44.8 million passengers, in which 63 percent were international passengers. Over the period given, passenger traffic at the airport decreased significantly in 2020 and 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic. In the following two years, the number of passengers at Toronto Pearson International Airport increased, however, the figure remained slightly below the pre-pandemic years figures.
