Advertising expenditure in Finland 2013-2024, by medium
In 2023, the total expenditure on media advertising in Finland amounted to 1.3 billion euros, decreasing slightly from the previous year. Online media advertising made up 55 percent of the advertising spending, while TV advertising accounted for 16.5 percent.
Around 714.5 million euros was spent on online advertising in 2024, compared to 222 million euros in 2012. Meanwhile, print media advertising declined dramatically between 2012 and 2024.
