EU-27: Production output of heavy sections by leading country 2010-2023

In the European Union (EU-27), Spain has been by far the leading producer of heavy sections equal or above 80mm, with around 2.5 million metric tons in 2023. Over the period given, the highest production within these 12 years was recorded in 2011 when Spain produced nearly three million metric tons of heavy sections. As of 2023, Luxembourg, the second leading country in the EU-27, recorded a production volume of approximately 1.71 million metric tons, slightly more than the previous year's production level.
