EU-27: major producers output of wire rod 2010-2021
In the European Union (EU-27), Italy was the leading producer of wire rods, with almost 5.8 million metric tons in 2021. Spain, the second leading country in the EU-27, recorded a production volume of approximately 1.9 million metric tons. In the period of consideration, Germany was the major producer until 2019. Since then, the source did not publish any production figures for the country.
