In 2023, the number of new passenger cars sold or registered in Saudi Arabia totaled about 646 thousand. In comparison, approximately 113 thousand new passenger cars were sold or registered in Kuwait that year. All the represented countries in the region saw passenger vehicles sales increase over the previous year except for Egypt which saw sales decline by 48.3 percent from 2022.
