South America: fixed broadband subscriptions per 100 inhabitants 2023, by country

In 2023, Uruguay had the highest number of fixed broadband subscriptions per 100 inhabitants among South American countries. As of that year, there were around 32.4 fixed broadband subscriptions registered for every 100 Uruguayans. Argentina placed second in the region, with around 25.4 fixed broadband subscriptions registered for every 100 of its citizens. Venezuela had the lowest rate in the region, with approximately 9.6 fixed broadband subscriptions per 100 inhabitants. Nevertheless, considering the total number of fixed broadband subscriptions in all Latin America, Brazil placed first.
