In Hungary, 53 percent of people believed the change would have rather positive consequences, while 47 percent shared this view in Romania. In contrast, skepticism was more pronounced in Czechia and Poland, where 56 percent and 52 percent of respondents respectively expected negative effects. Notably, 25 percent of Poles anticipated very negative outcomes. Views in Bulgaria and Sweden were more mixed, with 21 percent and 7 percent of respondents respectively saying they were unsure.
