According to a national alcohol survey from 2023, beer was the most consumed alcoholic beverage in Finland. Beer accounted for 49 percent of all alcohol consumption in restaurants, followed by spirits and wine with 18 percent. In domestic alcohol consumption beer made up 45 percent, while spirits accounted for 21 percent, measured in pure alcohol.
