The electricity price for non-household customers in Austria has increased steadily sine 2017 and it boomed in 2022, during the global energy prices. That year, it amounted to 17.02 euro cents per kilowatt-hour for an annual consumption greater than 500 and lower than 2,000 megawatt-hours. That same year, for users with an annual consumption greater than 20,000 and lower than 70,000 megawatt-hours, electricity prices stood at an average of 18.57 euro cents per kilowatt-hour.
