As of 2024, two evening newspapers Ilta-Sanomat and Iltalehti were the most popular online media to follow news in Finland, with weekly user shares of 60 and 57 percent respectively. Other popular news outlets included Finnish online news media, Yle news, Helsingin Sanomat, and MTV news. Local or regional newspapers were followed by less than 15 percent of online readers on a weekly basis.
