The export value of Italian wines from Italy as of the first semester of 2023 varied according to the quality considered. As of the survey period, the export value of Italian PDO wines was 1.4 billion euros, making up for the majority of total wine export value. Italian PGI wines followed with a total export value amounting to 657 million euros.
