This statistic shows the percentage of those who have served/not served in the U.S. military who had unmet medical needs in 2013-2014, by ethnicity. It was found that 12.1 percent of Hispanics who had served in the U.S. military said there was a time in the past 12 months when they needed to see a doctor but could not because of the cost, compared to almost 25 percent of Hispanics who had not served in the military.
