Overseas tourist spending in Ireland 2013-2019, by region of origin
The expenditure of tourists visiting Ireland from mainland Europe has increased steadily since 2013, peaking at roughly 1.85 billion euros in 2019. In contrast, spending of North American travelers in Ireland dropped by 2.3 percent in 2019 over the previous year, amounting to around 1.7 billion euros.
