In 2020, approximately 51 percent of the Dutch respondents answered the mentioned ways of debt financing were not relevant to their enterprise. Factoring is another form of corporate finance and less common in the Netherlands then, for example, Belgium. In 2016, the total market volume of online alternative finance platforms in Belgium reached a value of approximately 51.5 million euros.
