Icelandair Group operating profit 2014-2023
The operating proft of the Icelandair Group was on an upward trend over the past decade. However, in 2020, the profit decreased drastically, dropping to about 433.6 million U.S. dollars. The large decrease in profit came as a result of the coronavirus pandemic pandemic, which forced planes to be grounded and restricted the movement of individuals. In 2021, the airline group's operating profit began to increase, reaching 1.5 million U.S. dollars in 2023.
