Gold mining down under
The volume of gold produced in Australia is forecasted to reach 309 metric tons by 2026. While Australian gold mining has traditionally been an important segment of the global metal mining industry, the number of gold mines in the country was forecast to decrease between 2021 and 2057. Despite this, Australia was one of the leading gold mining countries worldwide.
