This statistic shows the total value of net assets of Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) funds in Belgium from 2007 to the second quarter of 2019 (in billion euros). In the second quarter of 2019, net assets of SRI funds in Belgium were worth approximately 22 billion euros. SRI (in full: sustainable, responsible and impact investing) is an investment tool which is based on environmental, social and corporate governance criteria to generate both long-term financial returns as well as a positive impact on society and the environment. Unfortunately, no single approach exists to SRI due to its many emphases. Therefore, investors sometimes use terms such as community investing, green investing or sustainable investing.
