The revenue of Finnair increased steadily over the period from 2016 to 2019. In 2020, Finnair's revenue in all divisions decreased significantly due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Passenger revenue declined the most compared to the previous year, amounting to 561.4 million euros in 2020 and 440.1 million euros in 2021.
However, after the impacts of the pandemic began to decrease, Finnair recorded a considerable rise in their revenue. Passenger revenue was the major component of the total revenue and raised from 440.1 million to 1.786 billion euros between 2021 and 2022.
