In February 2025, DeepSeek was the most-downloaded app for iPhone in the Apple App Store worldwide. DeepSeek generated around 21 million downloads from iPhone users, while ChatGPT was the second-most popular app, with approximately 16.4 million downloads from global users in the examined month. TikTok ranked third, with 11 million downloads worldwide.
