Change in beer available for consumption New Zealand 2024, by alcohol content
In the year ended December 2024, the amount of beer containing at least five percent alcohol in New Zealand had increased by approximately 3.9 percent compared to December of the previous year. Over 33.8 million liters of beer containing at least five percent alcohol were available for consumption in New Zealand during that year. In comparison, the amount of beer containing 1.15 percent alcohol or less in New Zealand declined by around 28 percent.
