In 2023, domestic same-day travelers made roughly **** million trips for such reasons. That year, same-day visits to friends or relatives reached around *** million.
Culture includes: visits to the artistic, monumental, and archaeological heritage; visits to the natural heritage and the cultural landscape; visits to taste the food and wine specialties of the destination; attending folkloric events, shows, exhibitions, concerts, etcetera.
Other reason includes: health care, spa treatments based or not based on a medical prescription, accompanying relatives/friends.
