The volume of small ruminants consumed per capita fluctuated during the period from 2010 to 2023. In 2023, Norwegians consumed on average 3.1 kilograms of small ruminants per person. Most small ruminants were consumed in 2013 and 2021, with an amount of 3.6 kilograms per person each year.
