Brazil: number of new students at universities 2006-2023

Since 2006, the new students enrolled in universities and other higher education institutions in Brazil has increased. In 2023, more than 4.99 million new students enrolled in Brazilian universities, up from almost 4.76 million newly enrolled students in 2022. Brazil's population amounted to over 211 million people in 2023.
