Distribution of audio listening time in Finland 2019, by platform and age group
In 2019, radio remained as the most listened audio source across all age groups in Finland. On average, 96 percent of individuals aged 55 and older, and 73 percent of individuals aged 25 to 54 years listened to radio daily. Young people aged 9 to 24 years listened to Spotify almost as much as radio on a daily basis. Other audio sources, such as Youtube music and podcasts, were also more popular among younger age groups.
