
OTT viewers by service type in the U.S. 2021
The most used over-the-top (OTT) service type in the United States was by far the subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) model, according to nearly three in four respondents to a 2021 survey. Ad-supported content and network direct-to-consumer service followed with over 40 percent of people interviewed stating to have used them in the month before the survey.
