Opinion on closing ports to foreign NGOs rescuing migrants in Italy 2017
The statistic shows the opinion among Italian on the government considering to close its ports to foreign NGOs rescuing migrants in 2017. According to the survey, 94 percent of respondents believed that the government is right in the threat to close its ports to boats carrying migrants rescued in the Mediterranean. According to the Ministry of Intern, from January to May 2017 around 60.2 thousand migrant landed on the Italian coasts.
