The statistic illustrates the direct and indirect revenue of the UEFA Women's Euro in the Netherlands in 2017. It was estimated that the tournament would generate a total of approximately 44 million euros of revenue, of which roughly 29 million will be direct and 15 indirect. The games were organized in the Netherlands, with seven cities who hosted the games. With 16 national teams it was the largest European Championship tournament for women's football ever organized. The final between the Netherlands and Denmark took place in Enschede on the sixth of August 2017. The Dutch national women's team won the final by beating the Danes with 4-2, claiming their first ever international trophy in history.
