Ratio of government expenditure to GDP in Sri Lanka 1990-2024

In 2024, the ratio of government expenditure to GDP in Sri Lanka was estimated at approximately 19.32 percent. Between 1990 and 2024, the figure dropped by around 6.03 percentage points, though the decline followed an uneven course rather than a steady trajectory.
