In 2023, Brazil featured the highest number of mobile cellular subscriptions in Latin America and the Caribbean, reaching 213 million. The South American country is followed by Mexico, registering approximately 140 million mobile cellular subscriptions. Considering the penetration rate in the region, though, Antigua and Barbuda placed first with around 201 mobile cellular subscriptions per 100 inhabitants in 2022.
