While accounting for a 7.6 percent market share in Dutch supermarket retail in 2012, Aldi saw its share consistently decrease in the following years until it reached its lowest figure in 2021 at 5.2 percent. After that, Aldi's market share slighly increased again and stabilized at 5.4 percent as of 2024.
