According to a survey conducted in Japan in 2024, ********************************************* were the leading payment method used to pay for online shopping and online financial transactions. Around ** percent of the respondents who had made online purchases in the past year reported having used card payments. Close to ** percent stated they had made in-store payments at convenience stores.
