Beer was the favorite alcoholic beverage among teenagers in the Netherlands in 2019. Nearly 25 percent of the respondents aged 12 to 16 years old indicated that they consume beer at least once a week. On the other hand, only seven percent of the respondents said to regularly consume spirits.
