This statistic shows the sales volume of strong beer in Systembolaget stores from 1st quarter of 2019 to 3rd quarter of 2022, by type. The sales volume of strong beer fluctuated over this period. In the 1st quarter of 2019, 51 million liters of Swedish strong beer and about 13 million liters of imported strong beer was sold. In the 4th quarter of 2021, the sales volume of domestic strong beer in the Swedish government-owned liquor stores grew to approximately 56 million liters, while imported strong beer reached an amount of about 14 million liters.
