Throughput of goods in seaports in Denmark 2009-2021, by type

In 2021, the total throughput of goods in Danish seaports showed a rise of roughly three percent from the year 2020. Considering the period from 2009 to 2021, the total throughput of goods handled in Danish seaports fluctuated, peaking in 2018 at nearly 96 million metric tons. Yet the figures showed decline by five percent in 2020.
The highest throughput was reached with goods transported by cargo vessels in all years.
