The total consumption of food and beverages offered by food service establishments in Spain almost reached 35 billion euros in 2023. This figure, although still lower than pre-pandemic levels, shows a significant increase from 2020, when the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic caused the number to drop to roughly 23 billion.
