The number of Italian students participating in the Erasmus+ mobility program grew in ten years. A total of 357,000 students spent a semester abroad between 2014 and 2024. The COVID-19 pandemic only restrained the growth. As restrictions to international travel were lifted starting from 2022, almost 44,000 Italians decided to participate in the program.
