In the year 2023, Spanish households spent almost 16 million euros on meat products. The expense on oil increased considerably with respect to previous years, surpassing the 2-million mark, as well as other products such as coffee. The expenditure on processed fruit and vegetables, as well as ready meals, also increased in Spain.
