Software: security measures taken by Spanish users when downloading in Spain 2019

This statistic presents the percentage of users who took some security measure when downloading software in Spain during the first six months of 2019, by type of measure. Over 45 percent of users said they analyzed the device or file at the end of the download, however, more than 40 percent used programs to download the desired content at the request of the website, a fact that can expose the equipment to possible inputs of malware.
