In 2023, the consolidated government budget expenditure on the Social Institute of the Armed Forces (ISFAS) in Spain totaled around 759 million euros, up from about 753 million euros reported a year prior. Despite minor decreases between 2012 and 2013, the budget assigned to this government agency increased by about 42 percent compared to 2003, when it reached 534.4 million euros. The ISFAS provides health care services to the civil and military personnel of the Spanish armed forces and the Ministry of Defense.
