Peru: most used methods of payment as of 2016, by category
The table shows the most used methods of payment to pay for selected types of goods and services in Peru as of February 2016. During a survey, it was found that 98 percent of respondents used cash to pay for food, while two percent of respondents claimed to buy food using a card.
