This statistic illustrates the total subsidies of cultural organizations in the Netherlands in 2016, by sector (in euros). The sector that received the highest amount of government subsidies in the Netherlands was that of museums with approximately 170 million euros. This is more than double the second largest sector in terms of government subsidies: orchestras with over 72.3 million euros of subsidies.
