Vehicle production in Argentina has experienced an overall downward trend throughout the past decade, and this effect was further aggravated by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. In April that year, vehicle production in the country came to a complete halt. In turn, Argentina's annual production amounted to around ******* vehicle units in 2020, including passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. In 2021, however, Argentina's production almost doubled and reached some ******* vehicles and in 2023, the country's production output stood at over ******* vehicles.
