The total installed onshore wind energy capacity in France amounted to 22 gigawatts as of June 2024. Vestas was the wind turbine manufacturer with the largest wind capacity installed in the country, with 8.2 gigawatts. By comparison, the second-largest manufacturer, Enercon, is nearly half of Vestas' performance that year.
