Solar PV installed generation capacity in Mexico 2010-2024

Mexico's solar PV energy generation capacity skyrocketed in recent years. In 2024, the installed capacity in the North American country was around 12 gigawatts, an increase of more than one gigawatt in comparison to the previous year. In 2024, Mexico had the second largest solar PV capacity in Latin America, ranking only behind Brazil.
