This statistic shows the results of a survey on the opinion of IT decision makers regarding the benefits of the EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) for citizens in Germany in 2017. During the survey, 47 percent of respondents stated that they considered it a benefit that their PII data would be better protected, while 55 percent of IT decision makers thought that upcoming rules such as the right to be forgotten would be beneficial for protecting their consumer rights.
