In March 2025, the electricity output from nuclear power plants in China was nearly 42 terawatt-hours. In that year, the monthly nuclear electricity production fluctuated between 30 and 40 terawatt-hours. The nuclear power generation volume of China had been increasing steadily, while the monthly nuclear power generation has almost doubled itself compared to five years ago.
