According to a survey among consumers of health functional products in South Korea in February 2023, 66 percent of respondents stated that the most important decision factor to make a purchase was the function or effect of the product. This was especially true among respondents in their fifties. At the same time, 16 percent of respondents answered that the recommendation of health specialists, such as doctors and pharmacists, was their main consideration factor.
